It expands access so promising youth from diverse backgrounds can participate, build sustained partnerships with host families and schools, and ensures program quality and safety through proper staffing and supervision. Students & Families Share Their Experiences
Host families come from communities across Broward County and represent a wide range of backgrounds and neighborhoods. Students are paired with host families located near participating Broward County schools to ease travel, encourage local school involvement, and foster stronger school‑community connections.
